I’m Jean, a handmade card designer and paper-crafting educator with a deep love for color, technique, and thoughtful design. I’ve been creating cards for many years, exploring everything from clean and simple layouts to layered designs that highlight texture, depth, and intentional detail.

While I’m naturally organized and plan-driven, my creative process is intentionally fluid. I enjoy experimenting with new cardmaking techniques, color combinations, and products, allowing each project to evolve organically. Creating is where I slow down, trust my instincts, and focus on the joy of making.

Through this blog, I share my handmade cards, creative process, and design insights with the goal of inspiring others to explore their own creativity and feel confident trying new techniques.

Things I Love

Creativity extends well beyond my craft table. I’m happily geeky and love discovering new tools and gadgets. I’m an avid reader, especially when the story leans a little magical. Travel fuels my imagination, and I’m always inspired by places that feel far from routine.

Life at home includes my puppy, Riley, whose personality keeps things lively, and my husband, who supports every creative adventure with humor, encouragement, and unwavering belief in what I do.

While I may receive products as part of design team work, the majority of supplies used on this blog are purchased by me.
