A Bold Halloween Glow

AALL & Create
10/18/2025

Hi there!

Some cards just light up the craft table—literally! This Halloween design was all about embracing those fiery ink-blended colors and letting the whimsical characters from AALL & Create take center stage. With a witch, her cat, and a glowing night sky, the scene came together like a little story unfolding at dusk.

I kept the bottom of the card clean and white to balance the intensity of the background and give the design a crisp, modern feel. That way, all eyes stay on the quirky duo and their glowing, spooky setting.

Design Highlights

🌕 A glowing Halloween sky ink blended with Distress Oxides (Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, and Barn Door).
🐈 Witch and cat from Moonlight Mischief, colored with Copic markers for bold personality.
🌱 A strip of grass die cut from the Frightful Fun set anchors the scene.
💀 Older Tim Holtz Halloween labels from my stash add a playful, slightly vintage sentiment.
✨ White gel pen + black glaze pen details for extra highlights and pop.

All products are linked on my blog and are available from www.aallandcreate.com and stockists worldwide.

And that’s my glowing Halloween scene—quirky, bold, and just the right mix of spooky fun!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
