good vibes

Dear Friend Poppies
Hi everyone! There’s something timeless about a red poppy — bold, elegant, and full of meaning. For this card, I...

Bright Skies Ahead
📌 I created this 4.75” x 4.25” card using several charming elements from the Spellbinders Take Note Collection! I used the BetterPress Take Note Press Plate two ways: first, traditionally with ink for the notepaper look, and second, dry embossed into the background for a subtle bit of texture. I built a rainy day scene layered with clouds, raindrops, and a cheerful umbrella — complete with playful touches like a sunshine corner, push pin, and the sweetest sentiment: “Friends make every view brighter.” A bright little reminder that cloudy days don’t last when you’ve got good friends nearby!

A Sunshine-Soaked Card
This card features the gorgeous gladiolus from Lisa Horton’s Wildflowers Collection at Spellbinders, paired with soft golden tones and elegant layers. I used a BetterPress plate to add delicate script texture to the background, blending in warm ink for a soft, sun-kissed glow ☀️. The stitched oval panel gives the florals a clean focal point, while the sentiment — “You make every moment golden” — brings it all together beautifully. It’s the perfect way to brighten someone’s day with a little handmade sunshine!

Keep Soaring
This clean and calming card is the second in my duo using the Sky’s the Limit collection by Simon Hurley for @teamspellbinders ☁️ A single colorful kite floats across soft stenciled clouds with a simple message: keep soaring. If you missed the first card in this set, be sure to check out the previous post for a bold, full-background take on this uplifting release! 🪁

The Sky’s the Limit
This colorful card features the Sky’s the Limit collection by Simon Hurley for @teamspellbinders—and it’s packed with good vibes! 🪁 I created a bold stenciled kite background, added layered clouds, and finished it off with a sweet sentiment that lifts the whole design. Bonus: I made a second card with this collection too—be sure to check back for the details on that card, too! 💙

Snail Mail Hugs
This sweet and cheerful card features the April 2025 Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Die of the Month along with the Embossing Folder of the Month—perfect for sending some snail mail hugs! A layered bird holding a mini envelope steals the show, set against a textured embossed background and a vibrant pink banner stamped with tiny envelopes. The sentiment is nestled in greenery with a few sequins for sparkle. It’s a fun and fresh design to brighten anyone’s mailbox!

Playful Rainy Day Cards
These rainy-day cards feature the Simon Says Stamp “Rain or Shine” release, and I had so much fun bringing them to life with Copic coloring! The bears and frogs add the perfect touch of charm, paired with fun rain-themed details. One card features masked stamping with a stenciled rain background, while the other keeps it simple with clear raindrop embellishments for added texture. Both designs capture the playful side of spring showers! Check out the full blog post for all the details! ☔🐸✨

Elegant Snowbells
These soft and elegant Snowbell cards feature products from the Simon Says Stamp “Rain or Shine” release! I ink-blended both the florals and backgrounds, adding depth while keeping the delicate feel of these early spring blooms. One card features the new Argyle Builder stencil set for a subtle geometric touch, while the other keeps it clean with a soft green-to-blue ink-blended panel. A few splatters and embellishments complete the look! Check out the full blog post for all the details! ✨💙🌿

Cheering For You
This fun and uplifting card features products from the @SimonSaysStamp “Favorite Things” release! 🏆🐾 I used masking to perfectly align the cat, dog, and trophy into one seamless scene. A soft ink-blended background creates a dreamy sky effect, while a layered vellum cloud border adds dimension. To bring energy to the design, I used a black glaze pen for motion accents, making the critters look like they’re bouncing with excitement! A few embellishments complete the card with a touch of sparkle. Want to see all the details? Check out the full blog post! ✨

Chirp! You Crack Me Up!
This playful spring card features products from the Simon Says Stamp “Favorite Things” release! 🐣 I used Copic markers to color the adorable chick, adding shading for extra fluff and dimension. The semi-circle die helped create a clean window opening, giving the chick a fun little space to peek through! Behind the window, I added a soft blue ink-blended background with embossed hearts for texture. The speech bubble and sentiment tie everything together for a lighthearted, cheerful design.
