A Holly Jolly Christmas Tweet

Spellbinders | Lisa Horton’s All About Christmas Collection
08/04/2025

Hi everyone!

This sweet holiday card is bringing the cheer with two little birds, festive holly, and lots of snowy charm. I used products from Spellbinders’ Lisa Horton – All About Christmas Collection to create a soft and modern design that still feels perfectly classic.

The die cut tag (this tag is an older one from Spellbinders and is not sold any longer – I’ve included a similar one in the Supplies list below) makes a fun focal point and frames the scene like a mini winter snapshot. I gave the birds their holiday best with a tiny Santa hat and a cozy scarf, then layered in textured branches and a mix of holly and sparkle to finish it off.

Design Highlights ❄️

  • 🐤 Festive birds wearing a scarf and Santa hat add instant charm
  • 🏷 Tag-shaped scene pops against the white background like a little gift
  • 🍃 Layered holly with red gems brings in that traditional Christmas feel
  • ✨ Clear embellishments mimic tiny falling snowflakes
  • 💬 Playful mix of sentiments with “Holly Jolly” and a bold “Christmas” in dimensional type

This card captures the joy of the season with a simple layout, sweet details, and a touch of winter magic. 💌

I hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
