Bright Berries and Holiday Whimsy

AALL & Create
11/29/2025

Hi there!

Holiday crafting always invites a little extra playfulness, and this card felt like a chance to lean into every cheerful detail. I started with an ornament-style frame and let this sweet AALL & Create character take center stage. She wasn’t designed as a holiday stamp, but she has already proven she can dress for the season, so she’s doing it again here with bright greens, berry reds, and plenty of charm.

As I added the layered greenery and topped everything with a bold ribbon, the whole project began to feel like decorating a tiny tree on my craft table. There is something delightful about building a scene piece by piece and watching the personality unfold as you tuck in sprigs, adjust colors, and sprinkle in glossy berries for shine.

Design Highlights

  • 🎀 Ornament-style frame as the central focal point
  • 🍃 Layered greenery for classic holiday texture
  • 🌟 Deep red bow to bring festive charm
  • ✨ Glossy berries for a pop of sparkle
  • 🖍️ Returning non-holiday character colored in festive tones

✂️ Studio Tip: Kraft cardstock is one of the most versatile neutrals in your stash. It brings warmth, grounds bright colors beautifully, and adds gentle contrast without competing with your focal point.

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
