Hi there!

I’m super exited to be part of the AALL & Create Guest Design Team!  I’ll be sharing my creations using their fun and whimsical products every Saturday from now until March 2026 (at least).  I hope you’ll stop by often to see what I’m up to – and I hope I inspire you to create something magical!

Before I dive into my card today, I wanted to give a huge Thank You shout out to AALL & Create – the box of goodies they sent me to launch my Guest Design Team journey was so incredibly generous!  If you haven’t seen my unboxing video, I hope you’ll check it out here.

If you’re new to AALL & Create, I think you’re going to fall in love. I find that the illustrations from all their product designers are whimsical, quirky, and guaranteed to make you smile.  The products themselves are high-quality and durable –  and oh! so fun to use!

For my first card, I kept to my favorite clean-and-simple approach.  Lots of white space lets the whimsical details shine, and the result feels like a tiny Halloween story unfolding right in the middle of the card front.

Design Highlights

✨ A spooky moonlit backdrop created with an oval stencil/mask, Black Soot Distress Oxide, and splatters of Dina Wakely Gloss Spray for stars.
🎃 The adorable witch and her feline sidekick are from the Moonlight Mischief stamp set (illustrated by Janet Klein) —colored with Copic markers for bold, quirky personality.
👻 The “BOO” sentiment and eerie tree die cuts (from the Frightful Fun die set) add just the right amount of Halloween drama without overwhelming the clean design.
🌙 Black splatter ties everything together, giving off a dreamy night-sky feel.
