Hi everyone!

Today I’m sharing a quick and easy birthday card. This one was “born of necessity” as I am WAAAAYYYYY behind on making birthday cards and needed to put one together in a flash (shhhh, don’t tell, but I’m even further behind on sending them)!

For this card, I used the Taylored Expressions Layering Candles stencil set with a bit of masking to make the rainbow-colored candles. Stencils are fun and easy to use and produce fantastic results! I added a few stars, a frame, and a sentiment strip and Ta! Da! a sweet birthday card ready for the next birthday on my list!

This is a 4 1/4-inch square card – which would be perfect for adding to a gift – almost like a tag. And by mounting it with a black accent and a black sentiment strip, I think it could easily be used for masculine or feminine recipients. I used the following Concord & 9th ink colors to create the rainbow: • Poppy • Marmalade • Buttercup • Parsley • Midnight

I think this card is super cute and I can’t wait until I remember to send it (LOL)! Hope you have a wonderfully creative day!
