Hi everyone!
There’s something so satisfying about bringing a garden to life on a card — and this one might just be my favorite floral moment yet! Using products from Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s Summer Solstice Garden Collection at Spellbinders, I built this peaceful little scene full of texture, depth, and nature-inspired elegance. 💙🌿

The dimensional layers really make this card pop — from the realistic shading on the petunias to the graceful hummingbird mid-hover. And that background? It’s soft but impactful, thanks to the Petunia Cascade embossing folder, adding just the right touch of texture without taking attention away from the florals.

🌼 Design Highlights:
- 🌸 3D Petunias – I shaped and shaded each bloom to give it life and volume — they practically leap off the card!
- 🐦 A Hummingbird Moment – This tiny beauty looks like it’s just paused mid-flight to admire the flowers.
- 🌿 Textured Elegance – The Petunia Cascade embossing folder adds a graceful, subtle floral background that grounds the design.
- 💙 Color Harmony – Shades of indigo, soft green, and teal keep the palette cool and calm.
- ✂️ Layered Details – Each piece was assembled with care to create depth and realism, while still keeping the overall feel light and serene.
Because of all that gorgeous dimension, this card is best delivered in person or tucked inside a gift box — it’s not one for a standard envelope. But honestly? It deserves the VIP treatment. 😉

Whether you’re a flower lover or just enjoy working with lots of dimension, this collection has so much to offer. I love how this card feels like a quiet moment in a summer garden — captured in paper.
I hope you have a wonderfully creative day!
