Swatching & Color Combos!
I was on vacation when Spellbinders launched their ColorWheel Card Stock, but as soon as I got home, I couldn’t wait to swatch these gorgeous colors! This solid-core, 100# heavy-weight card stock is incredibly smooth and die cuts like butter—crisp, clean cuts every time. I also played around with some fun color combos, mixing soft pastels, bold primaries, and rich florals. Having swatches on hand makes crafting even more fun! Celebrate Big today
Hi everyone! Today, I’m sharing a handmade card that combines both new and older Spellbinders products for a...

Chirp! You Crack Me Up!
This playful spring card features products from the Simon Says Stamp “Favorite Things” release! 🐣 I used Copic markers to color the adorable chick, adding shading for extra fluff and dimension. The semi-circle die helped create a clean window opening, giving the chick a fun little space to peek through! Behind the window, I added a soft blue ink-blended background with embossed hearts for texture. The speech bubble and sentiment tie everything together for a lighthearted, cheerful design. A Round of Appaws
This fun encouragement card features products from the @SimonSaysStamp “Favorite Things” release! 🏆🐾 I used masking to perfectly align the cat, dog, and trophy, creating a seamless scene. A warm ink-blended background adds a celebratory glow, while black glaze pen accents bring movement and energy to the design. The sentiment “You deserve a round of appaws” ties it all together for a playful way to cheer someone on! Check out the full blog post for more details on how this card came together. 🎉

Salvaged Heart
🎨✨ Fun artistic technique! ✨🎨
I tried something new with this card design using the @teamspellbinders Stamp & Die of the Month and Embossing Folder of the Month—and I love the results! 💛
For the colorful background, I scribbled Tim Holtz Watercolor Pencils directly onto the embossing folder, spritzed some watercolor paper with water, and ran it through my die-cutting machine. The result? A artistically blended, textured design with an organic watercolor effect! 🎨🌸
I kept the rest of the card simple to let the background shine—just a dimensional heart, a little twine, and a crisp sentiment to finish it off. Sometimes, trying a new technique leads to the best surprises!
Have you ever used watercolor pencils with embossing folders? Let me know in the comments! ⬇️💬

Easter Greetings
This bright and cheerful Easter card features products from the @SimonSaysStamp “Favorite Things” release! 🐣 I used Copic markers to color the adorable chick, Easter eggs, and flowers, adding depth and vibrancy to the design. To create dimension, I used the Basic Shapes – Circles die set for the opening, making a fun backdrop for the eggs. A soft ink-blended background adds a subtle sky effect, while embellishments and white gel accents give the card a little sparkle. The “Easter Greetings!” sentiment ties it all together for a sweet seasonal touch. Check out the full blog post for all the details! 🌸✨
