Large floral backgrounds can sometimes feel overwhelming, so for this card I made a deliberate choice to isolate a smaller portion of the artwork. Framing the daisies inside a heart allowed the florals to become the focal point while the surrounding white space keeps the design calm and balanced.
This card features the Gerbera Daisies Background stamp from the new Simon Says Stamp “In My Heart” release. I chose a rich purple palette for the flowers because it creates a bold color story while still feeling elegant against the clean white card base. The golden centers anchor the composition and help guide the eye across the heart.

Keeping the layout simple was an intentional decision. The small sentiment sits gently across the floral heart rather than competing with it, and a few black embellishments provide contrast that balances the design without pulling attention away from the florals.

Design Highlights
• Framing part of the background stamp inside a heart → transforms a large floral image into a focused centerpiece.
• Choosing rich purple daisies with warm golden centers → creates a vibrant color story that draws the eye.
• Keeping the surrounding card front clean and white → allows the floral heart to feel intentional and prominent.
• Adding small black embellishments near the sentiment → introduces contrast that anchors the composition.

This design really celebrates how a small portion of a large floral image can become something striking when it is given space to breathe.
