There are some stamp sets that make you appreciate the artwork.
Then there are the ones that make you smile before you’ve even cut into the package.
This little cow definitely falls into the second category.
I knew I wanted him to be the star of the card, so I kept everything else pretty simple. The fence and haystack were all he needed to tell the story. Once I had those pieces in place, it felt like he was just hanging out on a quiet little farm, hoping someone would stop by and say hello.

I also have a soft spot for cards that leave plenty of room to breathe. It gives the images a chance to shine and somehow makes these adorable little critters feel even smaller.
I have a feeling this cow is going to make me smile every time I see him. He’s sweet, he’s a little curious, and he looks completely content standing next to his haystack. Honestly, there are worse ways to spend a day.

Your card looks so cute. I love all the white space. White space scares me, but, I need to get over that.
