I’m not sure this house is actually up to code, but the ghosts seem happy with it. 😂

I chose the new Creepy Mansion Embossing Folder and Dies for this card, and rather than making it especially creepy, I went more playful-haunted-house with it. I kept the mansion almost entirely white and gray, then used that bright yellow glow to bring the whole scene to life.

Once the mansion was in place, I couldn’t resist adding a few ghosts, bats, and that big yellow moon. They gave me just enough Halloween mischief without taking the card somewhere genuinely spooky.

I especially love the combination of embossing folders and coordinating dies for designs like this. You get all that wonderful texture from the embossing, but the dies give you the freedom to pull elements away from the background and build something completely different with them.
