About my Card
One of the things I enjoy most about Together by Design is that sometimes we start with a product, and sometimes we start with an idea.
This month, our inspiration was simply school.
That left the door wide open, and I ended up walking through it in two completely different directions.
The first card celebrates teachers. Looking back, I can still remember a handful of teachers who made me feel capable, encouraged, and excited to learn. They probably had no idea the impact they were making at the time, but years later, I still remember their names. That’s a pretty incredible legacy.
The second card leans into another part of school that almost everyone remembers…freshly sharpened pencils. There was something satisfying about opening a new box at the beginning of the year. I couldn’t resist turning those colorful pencils into a thank you card for a teacher who deserves a little appreciation.
It’s always fun to see where a simple theme takes everyone. I can’t wait to see all the different interpretations from this month’s Together by Design team.
