Apparently purple can go from “hello, sweet friend” to “OH MY GOTH!” without even changing clothes. 😂

Today is CZ Day as part of the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® 2026 celebration, with a brand-new collection of CZ Design products. I made two cards for the occasion, and once I realized they were heading in completely different directions, I decided not to fight it.

For the first, I used the new Sketch Florals stamps and dies and went bright and graphic with vivid purple flowers and fresh green leaves. I tucked them around an oval opening with that deep blue-to-purple background behind it, which gave me plenty of color while still keeping the overall design clean.

Then I took essentially the same palette over to the dark side.

The second card combines the new Oh My Goth stamps and dies with the Oh My Goth Words die, and that oversized sentiment pretty much determined where things were headed. I kept the haunted house and bats graphic and simple and let that giant sentiment have exactly as much attitude as it wanted.

Same purples. Same deep blue. Two cards that clearly have very different plans for the evening.
