I love fall colors. I’m just not convinced they always need a fall-colored background.

For this final STAMPtember® project, I paired all those warm oranges, yellows and rusty reds with soft aqua, and I really love what that cooler color does to the whole palette. It still feels decidedly autumnal, just a little lighter and fresher.

These two cards feature the new Graceful Moments stamps, stencils and dies, along with the new Watering Can die set, released as part of Simon Says Stamp’s special Stamps + Stencils Spotlight. I used essentially the same color story for both cards but played with scale and composition to give each one its own personality.

One is pared back with a small grouping of pumpkins and gourds tucked around the watering can. For the second, I filled that can right up with flowers and let everything spill into a much more abundant arrangement. I like them both, but for completely different reasons.

And with that, I have officially made it through my STAMPtember® projects. I feel like there should be confetti. Or possibly a nap. 😂
