It’s the 6th of the month and that means the NEW Spellbinders Clubs are released to NON Club Members!
I’ve always thought Halloween works best when it has a sense of humor.
Sure, creepy can be fun, but I’ll take a goofy monster with oversized teeth or ghosts who are “haunted by life choices” every single time.
That’s exactly what drew me to this month’s Spellbinders Club kits. The images don’t take themselves too seriously, and neither did I. Instead of building elaborate scenes, I let the sentiments do most of the storytelling.

The little green monster made me laugh immediately. He looks equal parts mischievous and completely harmless, like the kind of creature who would hide your TV remote just to watch you look for it. Pairing him with “Hope This Raises Your Spirits” felt like the perfect mix of Halloween and encouragement.

Then there’s the stack of books. Honestly, “Haunted by My Life Choices” might be one of the most relatable Halloween sentiments I’ve ever seen. Add a few floating ghosts and a pumpkin perched on top, and suddenly it feels like a snapshot of adulthood during spooky season.
Sometimes the best cards don’t need a complicated background or a dozen techniques. Sometimes all they need is a clever sentiment, a little personality, and something that makes you laugh out loud while you’re creating.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’d love to know which one speaks to you more, the lovable little monster or the ghostly book club.
