Hi there!
Oh my gosh! I’m soooo excited! Two of my projects were published in the Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine’s Summer issue! You’ll find them in the PageMaps section – which is a really fun section where the magazine provides a sketch, called a PageMap, and you make projects inspired by the PageMap.
In this post, I’m sharing the two projects I made for the magazine, but I strongly encourage you to go to their site and see what I, and others, have created! Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine is packed full of inspiration, so I guarantee you’ll find something you love!
Here is a picture of the PageMap I used for my cards:
And here are the two cards I made using it:
For the first card, the one with the lilacs, I stuck pretty close to the PageMap. For my focal piece, I used stamps and dies from a new-to-me company called Photoplay – the set I used for this card is called “Lovely Lilacs”.
For the second card, I tried to use the PageMap as inspiration but take some creative license in my interpretation. Like the first card, I used Photoplay stamps and dies for the focal point – this time with a set called “Bugs and Kisses”. For my interpretation of the PageMap, I turned it on its side, substituted bugs and a branch for the floral focal piece, replaced the half-circle with dimensional clouds, and took some general license with the placement of the sentiment and the twine.
I am so excited to have my projects included in the magazine! I hope you like these projects and that you’ll check out the PageMaps section of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine for some amazing inspiration!
Hope you have a wonderfully creative day!
😘💜
Aw! You are so sweet! Thank you!
