Sweet Sprinkles of Love

Simon Says Stamp | To Be Loved Release
01/23/2025

Hi there!

Today, I’m excited to share this soft, colorful card I created using the Sweet Treats Stamp and Stencil from Simon Says Stamp’s To Be Loved release. This design is all about fun, color, and, of course, LOVE!

The heart-shaped dipped chocolates are the stars of this card! 🍫 I used only the stencil from the Sweet Treats set to create these adorable, colorful treats. Each chocolate features ink-blended “frosting” colors that really pop against the clean white background.

To make the “frosting” even more fun, I used the sprinkles and tiny hearts that are in the stencil set (although not intended for these chocolates) – ink-blending them in a tone-on-tone color for each of the hearts.

For the sentiment, I paired the bold “love you” stamp with the smaller, and simpler “so much” – from the stamp set.

I think the neutral kraft background grounds the design, don’t you?

I had so much fun making this card—it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day or any occasion where you want to remind someone how much they mean to you. And who doesn’t love chocolate, right? 🍫

Thanks for stopping by! 💕

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
