Hi there!
It’s release day over at Simon Says Stamp and I thought I’d start things off with card that was made with peace and patience in mind — and a whole lot of embossing paste! 😌 Featuring products from the Moments In Time release by Simon Says Stamp, I designed this card to feel like a breath of fresh air. It’s built around a striking snake plant stencil and die, made even more dynamic with carefully layered texture.

To get that lush, leafy look, I used several different embossing pastes, letting each layer dry completely before applying the next. It took a little extra time (hello, crafting zen 🧘♀️), but the depth and dimension were totally worth it. A subtle dotted background (double-stamped using the Swiss Dots stamp set) and a bold “Relax” sentiment finished things off for a card that’s both grounded and elevated.

✨ Design Highlights:
- 🌱 Layered Texture – Embossing pastes (plural!) bring the snake plant leaves to life with touchable detail.
- ⏳ Slow & Steady Wins the Craft – I let each layer dry fully before adding the next — it takes time, but the texture payoff is chef’s kiss.
- 🟢 Tonal Greens – Various shades of green make the foliage feel natural and rich.
- 🟡 Soft Background Details – A faint, double-stamped, dotted pattern adds quiet contrast without pulling focus.
- 🖋 Relaxed but Bold – The large black “Relax” sentiment anchors the design with clean simplicity.

Whether you’re sending this to someone in need of a little self-care or just want to say “take it easy,” this card brings the calm ✨💌
Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!
What patience you have, Jean! I LOVE all the dimension!
Love it! Such a great card!
