It’s the 6th of the month and that means the NEW Spellbinders Clubs are released to NON Club Members!
I have a confession.
I’ve never been particularly graceful on skis.
I admire people who effortlessly carve their way down a mountain while looking like they’re filming a travel commercial. Meanwhile, I’d be over here hoping I remembered how to stop.
And that’s assuming I could even make it up the ski lift. Heights? That’s a firm NO.

Thankfully, paper penguins have a lot more confidence than I do.
When I started designing this card, I knew I wanted the lift ticket to be the star. It instantly reminded me of my much braver friends clipping that ticket to their jacket, riding the lift to the top, and coming down the hill thrilled with the thrill of the run.
The little penguin seemed perfectly at home on the slopes, so I kept everything else clean and simple. Soft icy blues, layered snowflakes, and just enough sparkle let the lift ticket tell the story without competing for attention.

I think that’s one of my favorite things about the Spellbinders Club kits. Sometimes one die sparks an entire idea, and before you know it, you’re building a whole little scene around it.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope this card inspires you to look at your dies a little differently. Sometimes one unexpected piece is all it takes to get a new idea rolling.
