There was never really a question about whether this little guy was coming home with me.

I love foxes. I collect foxes. So when the Sitting Fable Fox showed up in the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release, my decision-making process was pretty much over.

For his first outing, I went full fall. I pulled out the Acorn Trio and Etched Oak Leaves dies from previous releases and built a little cluster around him, using those warm oranges, golds, and browns that make fall cards so much fun to create. I added the banner sentiment across the top to balance everything out and give the arrangement a bit of structure.

I especially love mixing something brand new with products I already have. It gives older favorites another chance to play and usually leads me somewhere I wouldn’t have gone if I’d stayed within a single release.

Of course, in this case, I could probably have put the fox in the middle of a completely blank card and been happy.
