A Bold, Geometric Hello

Simon Says Stamp | You Are My Favorite
04/26/2025

Hey crafty friends!

I’m excited to share a clean and modern card today featuring products from today’s “You Are My Favorite” release by @SimonSaysStamp! This card is all about contrast, angles, and that big bold hello up top. I had so much fun building this geometric layout using the new A2 Rectangles die set—it’s a surprisingly versatile tool that’s definitely earned a permanent spot in my stash. 🖤

Design Highlights

📐 Geometric boldness: I die cut rectangles from patterned paper (hello, dreamy alcohol ink-looking panel!) and solid white before nesting them together and cutting the panels in half for this eye-catching, off-set, L-shaped design.

✨ That sentiment though: The bold, swirly “Hello” stands strong against the graphic background—balanced by just a few enamel dots for added flair.

🖤 Simple palette, big impact: I stuck to a moody pink + black + neutral color scheme that keeps things modern but still warm.

Sometimes a simple die and a bold sentiment are all you need to make a serious statement. This release from Simon Says Stamp has so many great foundational pieces, and I love how easy it was to pull this one together.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
