A Little Santa

Simon Says Stamp | Festive Fun Release
11/21/2024

Hi there!

I have been having so much fun playing with the Joyful Christmas stamp set from Simon Says Stamp that I couldn’t resist making one more card with it…for now.

All the images in this stamp set are adorable.  So far this month, I’ve shared this one using the little bird and mailbox image, this one using the penguin decorating the tree, and this one featuring the adorably adorned reindeer.  This set has so many images and is super versatile! The images are even sized perfectly for gift tags!

Today’s card features the adorable Santa carrying a gift, along with the Christmas tree.  I popped him up on a semicircle that I had ink-blended and splattered for a snowy effect.  A bit of twine and a “Merry Christmas” sentiment round out the card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

Hi JD, I like your Father Christmas card, are there any measurements for it please? Did you adhere Father Christmas and the Tree to the inside of the front of the card? Cheers and Thankyou Marilyn (UK)

Hi Marilyn! Thank you so much! ❤️. The card is 4.25 inches by 5.5 inches (A2 size). The Santa and the tree are adhered to the front of the card, in front of the half circle opening. I hope that helps!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
