New Video! And a Celebration!

Launch Party for Waffle Flower Grip Mats
07/25/2023

AD: Guest Designer Post

Hi everyone!

Today we’re celebrating the launch of the new Waffle Flower Grip Mats and I decided to do an instructional video using them and making a card!

Before I jump into the card, I wanted to share that Waffle Flower is generously providing a GIVEAWAY* to one of my blog readers if you comment on this blog post by August 1st, 2023.  The GIVEAWAY* is a 4.25×5.5 Grip Mat!  Winners are picked at random and will be mailed by Waffle Flower.

For my card today, I used the Waffle Flower Grip Mat with stencils.  This was a very easy card to make so I hope you’ll watch the video and follow along (don’t worry – I sped up the dull parts 🙂 ).  I confess that I’m still really new at making videos, so I hope you find this helpful and that it is easy to follow along by starting and stopping as much as you need to if you are making a card with me.

Here’s where you can find my video: https://youtu.be/Tl354dqzMCE

And…here’s another look at the finished card:

I hope you like this card and that it inspires you to create something today!

And don’t forget to comment for a chance to win!

Have a wonderfully creative day!

Gorgeous background and flowers! Beautiful birthday card!
The grip mat seems like it would be really handy! Love that it comes in a variety of sizes! Excited that it is available in a small size to work with my Mini MISTI!

Thanks for sharing your card process with us using the new grip mat. I love that the mat is sticky enough to hold the card in place but easy enough to get the card off without any tearing. And it cleans up so easy. At the end of it all, you have a beautiful card.

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
