Sending Smiles with Every Step

Spellbinders Clubs | November 2025

There’s a quiet confidence in this month’s Stamp and Die of the Month from Spellbinders. The whimsical walking figure brings both motion and personality, making her the perfect focal point for a clean, cheerful design.

To complement her effortless stride, I paired the image with the coordinating Embossing Folder of the Month. Using the de-bossed side introduced a subtle stitched texture that softens the background and adds just enough visual interest to frame the design without overpowering it.

💡 Design Highlights

  • 👟 Copic Color Pop: The main image is colored with Copic markers for crisp detail and playful contrast.
  • 💚 Layered Banner Design: A sharp green pennant layered beneath soft blue creates balance and direction.
  • 🩵 Textural Shift: The de-bossed side of the embossing folder adds a tactile, quilted effect.
  • 🎀 Twine Accent: A wrap of lime green twine provides an organic touch that complements the hand-drawn charm.
  • ✨ Finishing Sparkle: Iridescent gems complete the design with a hint of shine.

Clean, simple, and filled with motion, this card feels like a little stroll through creativity. Each step in the process brought a smile, and that’s exactly what I hope it sends in return.

Have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
