It’s been a super busy couple of weeks for me – and I have been sick with a nasty spring cold on top of it!  So, I’m popping in quick today to share this sweet and soft card and I hope you’ll grant me a little grace for this <very> short blog post.  It’s been a challenge just getting into my craft studio, so bear with me…

This card features items from the current Simon Says Stamp “Be Bold” release.  I tried something a little different with the background on this card – I used embossing ink on the Lattice Tile stencil, pressed my paper into it, then heat embossed it with a pearl embossing powder.  This technique resulted in a very light embossed image which I think looks fantastic as a background.  

I topped it off with some ink blended die cuts and a shimmery sentiment.
