Hi there!
Few things capture the feeling of winter crafting quite like a cup of cocoa in mittened hands. The new Warm Mug Stencil and Die Set from Simon Says Stamp’s And Everything Nice release inspired this playful, cozy design — complete with steam, snow, and a few marshmallows for good measure.

I wanted the card to feel like stepping inside from the cold — warm colors, layered texture, and just a hint of sparkle. The double-stenciled mittens bring in that soft knit look, while the embossed background adds snowy depth. It’s a cheerful reminder that creativity (like cocoa) is best served warm.

💡 Design Highlights
- ☕ Warm & Cozy: The Warm Mug Stencil and Die Set builds the perfect winter scene.
- 🧤 Double-Stenciled Mittens: Two stencil layers create a knit texture that looks ready for snow.
- ❄️ Snowy Texture: The embossed background gives subtle dimension and movement.
- ❤️ Pop of Color: The red mug adds cheerful contrast to the icy blues.
- ✨ Simple Sentiment: “Sending warm wishes” keeps the design heartfelt and modern.
✂️ Studio Tip: To create the knit pattern on the mittens, I used a double stencil technique — lightly blending the base color first, then overlaying a second stencil for the patterned layer. It’s an easy way to add depth and cozy texture without extra bulk.

A cup of warmth, a touch of sparkle, and just the right amount of playfulness — that’s my kind of winter crafting.
Have a wonderfully creative day!
