Merry & Bright Mistletoe

Hi there!

Today I’m sharing a card made with the newly released Holly and Mistletoe Collection from Graciellie Design. This is a gorgeous new release that includes images, sentiments, and a designer paper pack! All in digital format! Here is a glimpse at the collection:

For this card, I made the digital image about 80% transparent before printing it so that I could get a no-line look when I colored it with my Copic Markers. I then printed one of the sentiments in the collection without any transparency so that it would remain a crisp black when added to the card.
Once I finished coloring it, I added a few wraps of red and white twine and mounted the panel on red cardstock using foam tape for dimension. I used the same red cardstock as a mat for the sentiment. I popped the sentiment up over the twine using foam tape and then added a few drip drops for some sparkle.
Thank you for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
