Hi there!

I’m popping in quick today to share a fun and easy Christmas foliage card!

I love foliage at Christmastime!  Holly and the mistletoe are my favorites, but pine boughs and pinecones are also near the top of the list.

This card features red berries and mistletoe leaves, along with a few others.  I simply die cut the images from white cardstock and ink-blended them for color.

I embossed a panel (the white one) using a foliage embossing folder.  You can’t see a lot of it, but I think it adds some nice dimension and a pretty backdrop for the foliage.

I cut a red card panel on the diagonal and heat embossed my sentiment on white, added a strip of silver glitter cardstock along the edge, just offset a little.

I tucked my foliage behind the red diagonal and in front of the white panel and tied the whole thing with a piece of baker’s twine before popping it up on my card front.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
