Pawsome Stamps Instagram Hop!

AD: DT Post

Hi there!

Today I’m participating in an Instagram Hop for the Pawsome Stamps Anniversary Release. Pawsome Stamps is generously giving away three $15 gift cards to lucky winners on the hop! I hope you’ll pop over to my Instagram page and hop along with us! You can get to my Instagram page here: https://instagram.com/jean.studiojd

My card for the hop features just one of the cute little chameleons in the Chameleon stamp set. This set is so fun and has lots of different chameleons to play with!

To make this card:

1. Stamp the chameleon using Copic-friendly ink.
2. Color the chameleon with Copic markers. I colored mine in a rainbow by picking out
my favorite Copic colors and using the tip-to-tip method to get a blend. This method
can take a bit of practice and I think these little chameleons are the perfect way to
 learn.
3.Die cut your chameleon using the coordinating dies in the set – or fussy cut it if you
 don’t have the dies.
4.Die cut the Tropical Leaf Bunch out of white cardstock and ink blend with shades of
 green.
5.Emboss a panel of white cardstock with the Monstera Leaves 3D embossing folder
 and trim it down to 3 ¾” x 5”.
6.Use foam adhesive to add the embossed panel to your card front.
7.Cut a strip of paper ¾” tall by 3 ¾” wide. Use the Fine Trimmings die to die cut the
dotted line across the bottom of your sentiment strip.
8.Stamp your sentiment on the strip – I was careful to make sure the bottom loop of
the “g” did not fall over the top of one of the dotted holes.
9.Arrange your Tropical Leaf Bunch and our sentiment strip on your embossed panel.
10.Adhere the Tropical Leaf Bunch to your panel with liquid glue – being careful to avoid
putting glue on the large leaf that you want to go over your sentiment strip.
11.Adhere your sentiment strip, making sure to tuck it under the larger leaf.
12.Adhere the large leaf to the sentiment strip using liquid glue - add a small foam
adhesive dot behind your large leaf if needed.
13.Adhere your chameleon to the leaf using foam adhesive.
14.Add a few Drip Drops to frame the sentiment and add some shine - and add one over
the eye of the chameleon to give it a shiny look.

I hope you like this project and that you’ll head over to Instagram and hop along with us! Here’s a link to my Instagram page: https://instagram.com/jean.studiojd

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
