Je t’aime – I Love You

It's Our 25th Wedding Anniversary
09/04/2024

Hi everyone!

Today, my husband and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.  If we add on the 5 years of dating prior to that, we’ve been together for 30 years.

That’s a long time to be with the same person <smirk>.

In all seriousness, I love him more than anything and there is no one else I’d rather share my life with.

Today, I’m sharing two cards:  The one with the grass and sky background is the one I made for him for our anniversary.  I ended up deciding to make another card just because those bunnies are adorable, and I couldn’t resist.

I made both cards by stamping the images in Memento ink on Copic Xpress It paper, coloring them with Copic markers, then fussy cutting them.

I used my Spellbinders Glaze and Glue to add a glossy surface to all of the hearts.

While the Glossy Accents dried, I ink blended the backgrounds and stamped the sentiment.

To finish the cards, I popped the bunnies and hearts up with foam adhesive.

Thank you for stopping by my blog.  I hope these cards inspire you to make something for someone you love!

Have a wonderfully creative day!

Congratulations on your 25th Anniversary. Your little French bunny couple is adorable. I like both versions, but the one with more red is my favorite.

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
