Sending Cheer

Spellbinders | April 2025 Clubs
04/10/2025

Hi everyone!

Today I’m sharing a sweet and compact little project featuring the April 2025 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month and the coordinating Embossing Folder from @teamspellbinders. This 4.25″ x 4.25″ card is the perfect size to tuck into a gift bag or attach to a present—and it’s packed with happy spring vibes! 💕

Design Highlights

🌸 Mini Blooms, Big Impact
I layered up a garden of die-cut blooms in pinks, corals, and whites, accented with sparkly gem centers. These flowers are small but mighty—adding texture, color, and a whole lot of charm.

💌 Sweet Snail Mail Details
The tiny envelope with a heart seal returns again (because I’ll never get tired of that!), nestled among the florals for a cute “happy mail” vibe.

📝 Stamped Sentiment with a Handwritten Feel
“Sending cheer wrapped in paper & ink” is stamped front and center—and I just adore the mix of clean type with script! It’s heartfelt, crafty, and perfectly suited for a handmade gift.

📦 Gift Bag–Ready Size
At just 4.25 inches square, this card is ideal for popping into a gift bag or tucking inside a wrapped package. It’s small enough to be sweet, but still full of detail.

📄 Embossed Background = Subtle Wow
The white panel is embossed with this month’s folder, adding a torn notebook pattern that gives the whole card just the right touch of depth without taking away from those bold florals.

This project was so fun to put together—and I love how Spellbinders’ kits continue to inspire new formats, sizes, and styles. Whether you’re crafting for a friend, a birthday, or just because, a little card like this goes a long way.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Let me know in the comments—do you ever make mini cards? I might be hooked. 😉

I hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
