Hi everyone!

I am super excited to be joining The Rabbit Hole Designs this month as a Guest Designer celebrating their September release!

Today, I’m creating with a new Halloween-themed stamp set called “Jack of all Faces”.   I absolutely LOVE cute Halloween illustrations and the stamps in this set are absolute perfection!  They have a sketchbook style to them that also feels so artsy and fun!

For this card, I stamped the jack-o-lanterns onto Copic Xpress It cardstock using Memento ink, then colored it with my Copic Markers and fussy cut it out (links to all supplies are listed below).

I created a banner using watercolor cardstock and then used a spiderweb stencil from my stash and some black stencil paste to create a dimensional web on the banner. I wish this showed up a better in the photos because it’s super cool!

I popped the banner up on my card front with foam adhesive.  I then adhered my jack-o-lantern duo by using a bit of liquid glue behind the portion that overlapped the banner and a bit of foam adhesive behind the edge that hung over.

I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the stamp set and die cut it with a banner die so that it would mimic the spider web banner.  I popped the sentiment up with more foam adhesive.

For the finishing touches, I wrapped some white baker’s twine around the card and tied it into a bow, then added a few gems/sequins.

I appreciate you stopping by my blog today!  And, if you love creating for Halloween, stay tuned – I’ll have another card with this same fabulous set in a couple days. 

I hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
