Hi everyone!
I’m back with another card featuring the Jack of All Faces stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs!
I have been loving the artistic sketch style of the stamps in this set. Earlier this week I posted this card featuring a different stamp from this same set. They are all just so cute!
For this card, I stamped the image using Memento ink on Copic Xpess It cardstock, then colored it with my Copic markers.
I fussy cut out the image and thought it would be fun to hang the hat over a crescent moon, so I grabbed a couple of small circle dies from my stash and created my own. I just ink blended it with a bit of yellow and orange to give it some depth.
Of course, there’s no sense having a moon if you don’t also have some stars, so I ink blended a separate panel using The Rabbit Hole Designs’ Aim for the Stars stencil. I used a very light hand to get a pale-yellow sky all over the panel, then used a heavier hand to ink-blend the stars through the stencil.
I splattered the background with gold and white for a bit more interest. Once it was dry, I adhered it to my card base.
I cut out a section from a plain white panel large enough to span the witchy jack-o-lantern image and the moon. I stamped my sentiment on the top section, then popped both the top and bottom sections up over my starry panel.
I then adhered my witchy jack-o-lantern over the opening – using foam adhesive to support it from behind and liquid glue at the top and bottom were it overlapped the white panels.
I rounded out the card with a few star sequins!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and I hope your day is wonderfully creative!
This pumpkin is adorable with the witches hat set at a jaunty angle and hanging from the moon. I love the way you have split the front and added so much depth! A super Halloween card, Jean!
