Shake, Rattle, and Boo!

2025 Simon Says Stamp FALL AND HALLOWEEN Dies that coordinate with Tim Holtz Stamps
08/29/2025

Hi there!

We’ve made it to Card #7 in my Fall and Halloween series using the new coordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp’s spooky-fun release—and we’re going out with a shake! 💀🎉 This playful design features the Tiny Frights ghosts and bat floating outside a shaker window, backed by a dramatic die-cut spider web from an older Tim Holtz favorite.

I kept the color palette cool with soft aquas and bold black accents. The arched shaker window gives a peek into the “haunted” background, where spider sequins and tiny details add movement and magic. Those ghosts? They’re too cute to spook, honestly. 👻🖤

Design Highlights:
👻 Tiny Frights Ghosts – These stamped and die-cut cuties float around the shaker window for max Halloween charm.
🦇 Boo Bat & Web Drama – The spider web (cut from black cardstock) creates the perfect haunted backdrop.
✨ Shaker Card Magic – Sequins add sparkle and spider-movement for interactive fun.
🎨 Aqua + Black Palette – A cool twist on traditional Halloween colors.
🔮 Playful Framing – The arched window softens the layout and adds an architectural touch.

This one was the perfect wrap-up to the series—fun, interactive, and full of Halloween whimsy. Thanks for following along through all seven cards… and stay tuned for more crafty magic coming soon!

Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!

I fell in love with card-making many years ago and I’ve been hooked on it ever since. I love trying out new techniques and finding the perfect color combination for whatever I’m creating.

By nature, I am an uber-organizer and a steadfast planner, but as you’ll see, my creations are much more fluid. And while I love color theory, the concept of lights and shadows, and the importance of depth and perspective – these are not things I worry about when it comes to my creations.

I simply find joy in creating and delight in sharing.

I hope that by sharing my cards and other art with you here on my blog I can inspire you to create something you love!
