Hi there!
In *almost* every aspect of my life, I purge things that I don’t use. Extra bits of crafty creations are my one exception. If I stamp it, blend it, cut it, color it, or paint it – there’s a good chance I’ll keep it in the hopes of finding a “home” for it later.
The card I’m sharing with you today, came about because I stamped and colored an extra bow when I made these adorable treat boxes using the Hello There stamp and die set a few days ago. Yep, just one tiny bow.
I love how one “piece” can manifest a whole new design.
I wanted something a little unexpected on this design, so I colored the bunny face (to go with the bow), and then turned it upside down so that it looked like it was peeking down from the top of the card.
I added one of the bold sentiments from the set (Oh my! Those sentiments are amazing!) and did a little ink blending before adding the bunny. I only glued down the face of the bunny – leaving the ears free of adhesive, so that I could bend them slightly and give the card a bit more dimension. I think you can see that better in this picture:
I think this card turned out to be fun and whimsical! I hope it inspires you to save those left-over bits and pieces and let them lead you to a new creation.
Have a wonderfully creative day, everyone!
Oh love this and love that sentiment… what a cute card xx
